In collaboration with Nick Jostes

The intention behind this piece was to create a space that would take the viewer to their own. It's based on the idea of self analysis and introspection. It's a space that speaks more about the viewer than it does about the artists. What you take from it, is what you brought to it. This piece is a gateway to travel within your own identity.

We aimed to present a childlike wonder with this piece and so we chose simple and thrifted materials. We want the viewer to see the simplicity behind the structure and experience it with new eyes, much like how a child explores and plays in their surroundings. We also explored the theme of nostalgia with the interior design and patterns to exemplify a memento of time

However, with the time limitation, we weren't able to fully complete the piece. In fact, there's several factors that we had to leave out. Something we look forward to is exploring the incorporation if technology and how it can add to the experience.
